Redmi has pulled back the curtain on its most distinctive color option yet for the K100 Pro, dubbed Firefly Glow, a fluorescent green finish built around proprietary luminescent materials that turn the rear glass into a functional light painting canvas.

Sandwiched between the back glass and green tint ink sits a special glow-in-the-dark layer. Users can charge the panel’s luminescence with flashlights or any strong light source, which then emits soft neon green patterns in low-light environments for freeform DIY light art creation.

The phone’s metal midframe and camera island deco adopt a matching monochromatic design for seamless visual unity, with zero raised camera lenses to eliminate uneven rear protrusion.

On the display front, the K100 Pro equips a 6.59-inch panel debuting brand-new M11 OLED emissive material. It hits a local peak brightness of 4500 nits, paired with a 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate and 4800Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate for ultra-smooth scrolling and responsive gaming taps.

The flagship screen also carries Redmi’s next-gen Super Pixel technology, built on a full lossless RGB subpixel layout. This architecture erases the classic OLED flaw of pixel sharing, delivering clarity exceeding standard 2K displays. The upgraded green primary emissive material lifts overall luminous efficiency by 20% compared to prior generations.

Last year’s Super Pixel iteration relied on advanced domestic red light-emitting components that reached an industry-leading luminous efficiency of 82.1 cd/A. The new green emitter upgrade pairs perfectly with the Firefly Glow’s pale green chassis, creating visual synergy between the handset’s exterior and its display performance.
