Redmi K100 Pro Equips Industry-Leading 8580mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery for Top-Tier Endurance in Mid-High Price Segment
Redmi has officially unveiled the massive battery specification of the upcoming K100 Pro, aiming to deliver the best battery life among smartphones priced around $550–$650. The flagship mid-range handset carries an 8580mAh lithium-ion cell built with advanced silicon-carbon composite anode technology.

The battery achieves a high silicon-carbon content ratio of 26%, pushing volumetric energy density up to 945Wh/L, a benchmark upgrade that enables ultra-large capacity without excessive body thickness. The full K100 Pro series launch event is locked in for August 11, with two models debuting on stage: K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max; the base K100 standard variant will launch at a later date.
The K100 Pro is the compact model in the lineup, fitted with a 6.59-inch flat OLED panel adopting brand-new M11 emissive material. The screen supports a 185Hz gaming refresh rate and 4800Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, hitting a peak brightness of 4500 nits, with native high-frame rate profiles optimized for over 30 mainstream mobile games.

Its rear camera system consists of a triple setup led by a 200MP main sensor paired with ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. Hardware highlights include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, full IP68 dust and water resistance, and an all-wrapped metal midframe.
Under the hood sits the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series platform, which scores over 4.09 million points on the AnTuTu V11 lab benchmark. The chip retains the complete 2+6 Oryon eight-core CPU cluster while only trimming its Adreno 840 GPU from 12 Compute Units down to 8 CU at a fixed 1.2GHz clock speed.

All premium auxiliary hardware remains untouched: the Hexagon NPU maintains full AI computing power to support local on-device large model operation, while three 20-bit AI ISPs enable up to 320MP single-shot photography and native 8K HDR video recording. Connectivity is covered by the integrated X85 5G modem and FastConnect 7900 suite, bringing Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 LE Audio and UWB ultra-wideband. The device tops out at 24GB LPDDR5X RAM + UFS 4.1 flash and complies with QC5 fast charging standards.
